About me
I'm an 18 year old university student in Sweden. I study computer science, because I like both computer and science... I also enjoy languages and typography a lot. Other miscellaneous things I like include K-Pop (as of recent), drag (mostly UNHhhh to be honest), codes (I know Morse and Tap Code for example), Smosh, math(s), stargazing, TikTok (it's true) and birdwatching.
I go by he, they, or she, in no particular order of preference. You choose!!
The real normal person languages I know are Swedish and English, and almost French. I am however also fluent in the constructed language toki pona, and I enjoy everything there is to consume in the language. jan Usawi has some really great songs, my favorites are probably "kiwen suwi", "likujo" and "tawa lon linja". Generally, I think grammar and phonetics are interesting too.
I also enjoy ambigrams. Most people, however, don't seem to know what they are, so boy let me tell ya. An ambigram is a typographical thing you can do where a word (or phrase) can be read in multiple ways. Most commonly, an ambigram is a word that's written weirdly, so you can turn it upside down and still read it. A funner version of that is when you turn it and it says something else! I both make and regularly look at ambigrams, because they are so fun. If you want examples of really good ambigrams, check out the ambigr.am hall of fame! (I've also made a generator that produces sometimes readable ambigrams)
I'm also really interested in fonts! I'm not a good font maker (I've only made a few), but it's fun to identify them and to know a lot about them and typography in general.
I'm not a great programmer, but I definitely am one. I know enough HTML and CSS to for example make this website. I've also made things in Python, C#, as well as weird freaky languages like Brainfuck and Javascript.
I think there might be traces of AI code somewhere on this site (probably some function in some JS-file), but the website is manually coded. I'm not as anti-AI as many people I know are, but don't get me wrong, generally I am against it. Here are however the things I sometimes (pretty rarely) use AI (in my case ChatGPT) for:
- Listing spelling mistakes in a document. (At least in Swedish, spell checkers are really not good)
- Answering a question whose wording is too difficult for Google
- Making a tricky Regex
- Translating things that require more context than what most machine translation offers
I spend most of my free time watching Youtube or coding things in Python or Godot. I sometimes play one of a few video games, including Minecraft and Zelda. In ascending order of my enjoyment, the Zelda games I've beaten are:
- Ocarina of Time
- Tears of the Kingdom
- The Adventure of Link
- Breath of the Wild
I also like going on walks in the Swedish forest, where I look at and listen to birds a lot! At night I like to stargaze and try to identify all the constellations I can see.
When Illit's song "Not Cute Anymore" became a TikTok trend around December 2025 and January 2026, I started getting really into K-Pop. Since then I've listened to a lot of Illit, Katseye, Le Sserafim, Nmixx, NewJeans, BlackPink, Heats2Hearts, Ive, and æspecially æspa! æspa is probably my favorite group, and I'm even seeing them live 2027-01-22!! I don't listen to boy groups that much, but there are some one off songs I really like from for example Enhypen, TxT, and Exo.
Miscellaneous facts about me
- I drink a lot of tea, but only black, and with milk, but no sugar or honey (unless I have a cold).
- I don't, never have, and probably never will have a good sleep schedule.
- I can key Morse code at like over 30 wpm.
- I can copy (listen to and understand) Morse code, but only if it's slow.
- I've accidentally learned the whole greek alphabet just by passively learning a letter sometimes.
- I can do a handstand and then fall over into what I think is called "bridge pose" in English.
- I have two parents who are both teachers, one of which also has two teachers as parents.
- I have my own logographic writing system for toki pona that no one else can read.
- I write in cursive, except I don't save tittles or crossbars for after writing a word.
- I like Illit's "It's Me" so much it might be my favorite K-Pop song don't cancel me please.
- I sometimes speak a Swedish version of Pig Latin with my mom that no one else seems to know.
- I use Android, but Google is so terrible at software design that I want to switch back to iPhone.
- I'm in a lot of trans and autistic spaces. I think I'm neither, but it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out I'm both.
- I once got 80k likes on a TikTok comment, but the video got deleted so there's no proof of it.
